2005 we moved and it was our first year doing a yard display.
Previously we had lived in apartments and a house that didn't get trick or treaters. We were excited at the prospect of living in a neighborhood where the TOTs would come.
We got possession of the house at the end of August, my husband immediately moved in, my son & I didn't completely move in until the begining of October. We were so busy moving we didn't get to do much that year, but we had a blast anyway.

Doug, Gary & I, thanks to our neighbors Dan & Mary for taking this picture otherwise there wouldn't be a picture of us together!

Thanks to our friend Norma who came out and helped pass out candy. She dressed as Mimi.

Doug dressed as Freddy & I dressed as a witch, we didn't know if we were going to dress or not until a neighbor told us the previous owners liked Halloween and they dressed to scare the kiddies; so the kids were going to expect it. So Freddy visited and the kids loved it. We didn't have much a few tombstones, some cobwebs, bats, spiders, fog machine, some sheet ghosts & spooky music. It's funny how the kids react to Freddy, some are afraid and some think they have to prove something to him. One kid tried to get Freddy to get him and the instant Freddy moved towards him, the kid ran down the street. Our son TOTed as Jason.
